The author seems to be quite a prolific writer, but mostly in the field of esoteric Gurdjieff stuff. Some of this unfortunately finds its way into this book but it is not too bad. Instead what makes this book hard to read is the author’s lack of English language skills and a generally confusing arrangement of subjects. I appreciate the attempt at sorting and categorizing Tango moves, but this is really only an attempt. The title is also somewhat misleading in that this book does not cover teacher-specific subjects such as curricula or common issues.
I gave this book to my tango teacher for Christmas. He loves it, and is studying it every day. A real gem for those that really want to dissect tango and get into it. I would recommend this book to anyone with a passionate interest in Argentine tango. I benefit because he studies it, then teaches it to me.
Nice book, provide an overview how to classify and remember steps and figures. Very helpfull as there so many possible possible figures in tango. Well done.
